Bassem Malas

Bassem Malas is our National Operations Manager and has over 26 years’ experience in NATA accredited laboratories. He has led large-scale analytical programs for major tunnelling and infrastructure projects, including Sydney Metro (Central and Western Tunnelling Packages), the Rozelle Interchange (WestConnex Stage 3) and the Sydney Gateway Project. Bassem specialises in managing high-volume testing operations, laboratory logistics and multi-site coordination to support continuous construction activities.

Laura Popek

Laboratory Supervisor - VIC

Laura is an Environmental Chemist with nearly seven years’ experience in commercial laboratories, leading our Victorian technical team and day-to-day laboratory operations.

Dr Feng Shi

Feng Shi is our National Technical Manager with over 13 years’ experience in environmental laboratories and more than 24 years as a researcher. He specialises in analytical methods, advanced instrumentation and quality systems, and serves as a NATA Technical Assessor. Feng provides technical oversight to ensure results are robust, defensible and compliant with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

Krista is a Chemist with over 5 years’ experience working in the environmental sector, she leads the operations and managers our Silverwater team.

Jacob Jones

Jacob is an Environmental Chemist with over six years’ experience working in environmental laboratories. He has managed laboratory programs supporting major projects, waste recievers and contractors, including the West Gate Tunnel Project, Hi-Quality Group and Enviropacific Solve.
